SIR ROBERT DE GREYSTOKE, s. and h. ap. [of Ralph, Lord Greystoke (d. 1487)] He m., 1stly, Margaret, da. of Edward (GREY), LORD FERRERS of Groby, by Elizabeth, da. and h. of Sir Henry FERRERS (s. and h. ap. of William LORD FERRERS (of Groby)). She d. s.p. He m., 2ndly, Elizabeth, da. of Edmund (GREY), EARL OF KENT, by Katherine, da. of Henry (PERCY), EARL OF NORTHUMBERLAND. She d. 18 July 1472. He d. v.p. and s.p.m., 17 June 1483.

Douglas Richardson, in August 2003, provided evidence that Sir Robert married 1stly Elizabeth Grey (d. 1472) and 2ndly Margaret Grey - on 19 January 1474/5 the Bishop of Lincoln was mandated to give a dispensation for Robert Greystoke to marry Margaret Grey, of the diocese of Lincoln, who was related to Robert's late wife Elizabeth Grey in the third degree of kindred [citing Calendar of Papal Registers: Letters, vol. 13, part 1, p. 425].
