Complete Peerage, vol. 1, p. 245, places the marriage of Thomas and Philippe after April 1398. Douglas Richardson, in November 2003, presented evidence that they were married by 6 December 1398 [citing M. D. Legge, Anglo-Norman Letters and Petitions (1941), pp. 69, 70].
