(ii) Sir John le Scrope, M.P. for Yorks Jan. 1400/1, who m., before May 1390, Elizabeth (aged 36 and more in 1402), widow of Sir Thomas Percy (d. about 1386 in Spain), 2nd s. of Henry, 1st Earl of Northumberland, 1st da. and coh. of David (of Strathbogie), Earl of Atholl [S.].

The marriage of Sir John le Scrope and Elizabeth took place before 16 September 1388 (see Atholl, vol. 1, p. 308, note e).
