Agreement: Reiner acknowledged that the virgate and appurtenances belonged by right to Robert son of William. In return, Robert granted the whole virgate and appurtenances to Reiner to hold from Michaelmas next, after the consecration of William de Bloys, bishop of Worcester, for the following year. At the end of that year, Reiner will pay Robert half the corn crop of the virgate, and will keep the other half for life, with reversion to Robert or his heirs after the death of Reiner. Property: A virgate, with appurtenances, in ......[F]arendun', whence an assize was summoned between them in the court to examine whether the virgate of land ... alms belonging to the church of the aforesaid Hugh de Farendun' or the lay fee of Thomas and Agnes.
Agreement: Thomas and Agnes acknowledged that the virgate and appurtenances were Hugh's by right ....... to be held by Hugh and his successors and the church, in pure and perpetual alms, in perpetuity. In return, Hugh granted tenure to Thomas, Agnes and their heirs of the virgate and appurtenances, to be held of him and his successors in the church on condition that the capital messuage, formerly held by Seman de Farendun' will remain to Hugh and his successors in that church, with a certain court pertaining to the messuage and an acre of land, together with an acre which lies in a place called La Buchine and an acre lying in a place called La Wrthe and an acre lying in a place called Anedemersceforlong, with its appurtenances. For this concession Thomas and Agnes, for themselves and their heirs, granted Hugh and his successors in that church half a mark at two annual terms, viz. 40d. at Easter and 40d. at Michaelmas, and [4lbs] wax a year, viz. 2lbs on the day before All Saints, and on Christmas eve, 2lbs. And be it known that the accord was made in the presence of Seman, and he acknowledged that he had no claim on that messuage with appurtenances except ...... villeinage.

Property: 2 hides, with appurtenances, in Bullington (Bulindon'), whence a plea was summoned between them in the court.
Agreement: Robert acknowledged that the 2 hides and appurtenances were Geoffrey's by right. In return, Geoffrey granted Robert 2 virgates and appurtenances from that land in that vill, viz. those virgates formerly held by Roger father of Robert. Robert and his heirs will hold them of Eufemia, abbess of Wherwell (Werewell, and her successors, in perpetuity. For this grant, Robert quitclaimed, for himself and his heirs, to Geoffrey and his heirs, all right he had in the remainder of the 2 hides, with appurtenances, in perpetuity. This agreement was made in the presence and with the consent of the abbess.

In return, Roger, for himself and his heirs, gave Peter and Isabel and their heirs, 6s. rent in the same vill at 4 annual terms, viz. 18d. at Easter, 18d. at the feast of St John, 18d. at Michaelmas, and 18d. at Christmas, that is 4s. from the the land which Martha daughter of Alexander Allutarius held in the street of parrocs ... in the suburb of Winchester, and 2s. from the house formerly held by Alexander Allutarius. For this concession, Roger gave Peter and Isabel 4s.

Agreement: Emma acknowledged that the virgate and 11 acres, with appurtenances, were Thomas's by right. In return Thomas granted Emma 20 acres of arable and 2 acres of woodland, with appurtenances, from that land, viz. 11 acres called Cotland, 7 acres in Haregrove, 2 acres in la Ferniland and 2 acres of woodland in Haregrove wood which lie next to the 7 acres to the north. Emma and her heirs will hold the land of Thomas and his heirs, in perpetuity, paying 2s. a year at Michaelmas for all except forinsec service. Thomas and his heirs will provide warranty for Emma and her heirs for the 20 acres and 2 acres of woodland, with appurtenances, against all men and women.
