A search facility based on indexes to selected plea rolls for the period 1349-1596, compiled by Vance Mead and Rosemary Simons, from photographs of the documents made available by Robert Palmer, Elspeth Rosbrook and Susanne Brand at the Anglo-American Legal Tradition website. This search form presents results with the names in each entry listed in the same order in which they occur in the index.
King's Bench plea roll indexes (KB 27), compiled by Vance Mead, are being added gradually to this database. Currently those for 24 selected rolls from 1470-1493 have been included.
(Note that there is a separate search facility for other AALT Lists and Indexes, which includes the KB 27 plea rolls.)
